Dr. John Williams

Minister Dr. John Williams is deeply committed to the work of the Lord and has a heart of a servant.  He is a humble man of God and will assure you that if you only Believe, All things are possible through Christ.  Dr. Williams is a man of great wisdom with a plethora of knowledge and understanding.  He started his journey years ago, but at that time, he worked out his soul salvation behind the scenes.  Dr. Williams started his Biblical journey teaching Sunday school, became an Ordained Deacon in 1994 in New Orleans, LA under the leadership of Dr. Pastor Eugene Maurice Mitchell where he was honored and committed to the working for the Lord. Dr. Williams continued his education at Corner Stone Society at New Orleans Baptist Seminary. 

He relocated to Natchez, MS in 2005 via Hurricane Katrina and joined the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church where he continued as an ordained Deacon under the leadership of Pastor Melvin L. White. He attended and completed seasons at the Mississippi Baptist Seminary under the leadership of Dr. John Scott, and HOPE Bible Institute; Accredited, where he has now obtained a Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral Degree in Theology, History in Christianity and became a World-Wide Licensed Christian Therapist. He teaches Bible Study and he is the Sunday School Superintendent Assistant. Minister Dr. John Williams preached his first sermon on January 29, 2023 at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church.

Minister Dr. John Williams exemplifies the Great Commission of Jesus the Christ, which is found in Matthew 28:18-20.  He is a blessed man with a Spirit of Excellence, Commitment and Integrity, believing that God will get the Glory out of his life as long as he continues to be a soldier in His army and bring healing to the body of Christ.

Minister Dr. John Yuri Williams is happily married to Ordained Evangelist Dr. Dawn Rose Williams.  He cherishes his wife and her role as a wife, mother and grandmother to their 6 adult children and grandchildren, while he also highly respects her role as a woman of God, anointed, appointed and filled with the power of the Holy Ghost. He often says, “My wife is my life.”  She anoints his head with oil and surely afterwards he believes his cup runs over.  Dr. John Williams is a man of laughter, loves to consult, talk and build up others. He is a born leader, smart and strategic.  He is the second-born of his five siblings, born to Geraldine Talton and John Williams Sr. both of New Orleans, LA He was a product of New Orleans Public School System, educated and graduated from Joseph S. Clark Sr. High School and after high school; he pursued a career in Culinary Arts and Law Enforcement. Lastly, but never the least Minister Dr. John Williams is a Cancer survivor and lives to tell the story behind his praise. He desires to become a full time Pastor in the very near future.  Minister Dr. Williams will forever thank God for sparing his life and for another chance that God has given him.
