Grief Ministry

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Whi comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”
2 Corinthiann 1:3-4KJV

Grieving is a personal and unique process that every person will experience. For every person that may need support to ease their grief, the Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Chirch Grieft Ministry is an informal Christ centered church support ministry which offers solace and encouragement during their season of loss and grief. We will provide empathetic support in an environment where one can share feelings and have quiet moments to reflect on sorrow, pain and changes in relationships, while remembering their loved ones.

Our goal is to minister to each person who has a loss, in a kind, loving mannerm letting God’s love guide us in helping each person, to cope during this difficult time of grieving from the death of a family member or friend. We want to provide encouragement that will be reinforced with prayer and scripture sharing.

We look forward to serving you in your season of loss of a love one. We are available for prayer, counsel, confidential listening, or whatever encouraging spiritual guidance you may need.

Mission:
Our mission is to be a vessel of love for those experiencing grief;
Directing those husting by loss with spiritual, sympathetic support;
Offering solace, encouragement and comfort to those who mourn;
Providing guidance, and resources that inform of God’s Saving Grace.

Purpose:
To ease the grieving process of our church family and friends, by guiding each person in need toward a Christ centered solution of spiritual wholeness.
